I have plenty of favourites but I would like to start off with the very basic; using oats to create a delicious porridge. Now, you might be thinking to yourself, 'Really?, I know how to use oats to make porridge already, and while they are delicious, do we really need a blog for this?' Well, the answer is yes! I am going to show you one of the most delicious recipes for making porridge, so not only will you be having for breakfast, but you'll be craving it for lunch and possibly even dinner also. This recipe is quick and easy with only a few ingredients, and will keep you feeling full for a long time. INGREDIENTS1 cup oats1 cup milk of choice (I use Soy)1 banana3 strawberriesHand full of blueberriesDrizzle of honey Sprinkle cinnamon METHOD1. Slice up half of the banana, place in the bottom of the bowl and mash.2, Add 1 cup of oats to the bowl, on top of the mashed banana,3. Pour the milk over the oats and stir.4, Place in the microwave for one minute.5. Take the oats out of the microwave and stir. Mix in the blueberries then place back in the microwave for a further minute.6. When finished, take out and stir in honey and cinnamon. Place back in microwave for one final minute. 7. While your oats are cooking, cut up the rest of the banana along with 3 strawberries.8.
